Riviera Resort GRAND OPENING!
GUYS! If you haven’t already seen Disney’s BRAND NEW Riviera Resort… go check it out! I had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening of the Resort & it is absolutely stunning! My 6 Favorite things about the resort are: 1. LE PETIT CAFE, the coffee shop in the lobby, has a mean cappuccino. And you know I love my coffee. 2. When you enter BAR RIVA, the pool bar, you are transported into the European riviera. It’s breathtaking! 3. TOPOLINO’s TERRACE, the rooftop restaurant, has a jaw dropping view and a fun interactive character experience with the characters in special riviera attire. 4. The WHOLE resort smells amazing! 5.…

Grand Floridian Walkway
My favorite walkway in all Disney world. The Grand Floridian walkway! This view does not disappoint! Definitely check it out! A little tip! This walkway is a great running trail. It goes from the Polynesian all the way to the Grand Floridian and if you want to get some more miles in continue on to the Grand Floridian Marina and back! This walkway now goes all the way to the Magic Kingdom too! Its about a mile and absolutely stunning! This means you can now walk from the Polynesian Resort to the Magic Kingdom, its a far walk but doable!

DCL See You Real Soon
It is with a heavy, but grateful heart that I say “See you real soon!” The last night at the farewell party we all gathered around in the atrium with Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, Goofy, and Chip and Dale. What an impressive crew!! Its not often you are in the same room as that many characters all at once! we said our goodbyes and the kids lined the staircase with candles (fake candles) for a candlelight ceremony and some singing. Peter pan, Belle, and Rapunzel walked around to hangout and talk with guests. It was truly a magical night. What an amazing cruise. Between the amazing shows, the wonderful…

Stopped by Storm Troopers!
Look who I got stopped by in the hallway! Guys! The exclusive character interaction on the Disney Cruise Line is exactly what sets it apart from any other cruise or really any other vacation. Whether it’s Belle taking you by the hand and walking around the whole lobby with you, your child having a full conversation with Peter Pan, or even being stopped by storm troopers in the hallways. Not to mention your kids being able to have private Jedi training in the kids club and learning how to mind control General Hux to set a fellow Jedi free. WOW! You don’t get this personal interaction anywhere else! It’s invaluable! The memories…

DCL Christmas Tree
The beautiful tree aboard Disney’s Very Merrytime Cruise is officially lit! Little insider tip! Take your photo with the back side of the tree! No lines and no one in your photo! Could you tell? This trick saved me about 45 minutes! If you are familiar with the jungle cruise ride you know even the back side of water is the 8th wonder of the world! (Corny mom joke)
